Brooklyn's energy inspires Parisian pop-up store

The Stackers is a pop-up store based in the trendy Bastille district. More than a shopping experience, the venture offers a great opportunity to discover new designers in fashion, design, food, beauty, culture, art and music.

Have you ever wondered how to discover new designers without spending all of your time researching them? In an era where new brands are launched every day with impressive creativity, there is certainly a need to showcase these talents in one place. Two friends, both working in press, Valérie Lemant and Armelle Luton conceived The Stackers, an innovative pop-up store whose mission is more than providing an average shopping venue. They have combined to create an atmosphere that is about meeting people and being inspired in a very relaxed setting.  After a first successful launch in spring, showcasing 70 brands, The Stackers will be setting up a second pop-up store in December, with a fabulous selection of designers, artists and brands, in fashion, culture, food and lifestyle. The atmosphere is directly inspired by the architecture found in Brooklyn, New York.  The massive Parisian Bastille building has a similar feel, with its brick walls, the spectacular glass roof and the Eiffel supports.  The selections include a prominent display of vintage items, customized Blitz motorcycles, Brooklyn images by Lola James Harper - a loyal Stackers partner - and Hutch Hot Dogs, in addition to the offerings from the original partners of the first session.

A family friendly event, The Stackers upcoming showcase between December 9-24 enables everyone, locals and tourists, to enjoy a fascinating and fanciful journey of shopping through French and international creativity and culture.  Last but not least, why shouldn't you consider a Christmas spree through The Stackers? There might be a unique and innovative item displayed among the designer’s selection for that perfect gift!
